I am a Consultant Anaesthetist at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust with regular lists there with Mr Draviaraj and Mr Kocheta. I graduated from Sheffield medical school in 1997. I undertook a fellowship in regional anaesthesia in Cambridge and Kings Lynn in 2005 where I obtained the skills to be able to perform peripheral nerve blocks for pain relief or so patients could remain awake for their upper limb surgery. This is a service I have developed as a Consultant with Mr Draviaraj and Mr Kocheta.
I am the Clinical lead for Day Surgery at Rotherham
I have written tutorials and chapters on Upper Limb Blocks and am the Regional Anaesthesia section editor for Anaesthesia Tutorial of the Week
I teach on several postgraduate regional anaesthesia courses nationally
I am involved in audit and research interests in upper limb and day surgery with the aim to further improve treatments and outcomes for my patients.
