Conservative management may involve splintage, hand therapy and corticosteroid injections, while surgical options range from minimally invasive arthroscopy and endoscopic decompression to microsurgical tendon and nerve repair, joint fusion, prosthetic joint replacement and tendon transfer procedures. Post‑operative rehabilitation is led by specialist hand therapists, focusing on oedema control, scar management, range‑of‑motion exercises and progressive strengthening to restore dexterity, grip strength and functional independence in daily tasks and vocational activities.
